Man charged over Omagh bomb car
Twenty-nine men, women and children died in the attack
A man from County Louth in the Irish Republic has been charged with providing the car used by the Real IRA in the Omagh bombing.

The 34-year-old man from Dundalk, who was arrested on Monday, is charged with supplying a car to terrorists between 11 August 1998 and 16 August 1998.

He is due to appear before Enniskillen Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

Twenty-nine men, women and children died and hundreds were injured in the 1998 attack on the County Tyrone town.

The bombing was later admitted by the dissident republican Real IRA.

Last month, Colm Murphy - the only man to be convicted in connection with the Omagh bomb - had his appeal upheld by a Dublin Court.

He is now facing a retrial.
