Coldplay's third album, X&Y, has topped the chart in 32 countries and is the
UK's fastest selling album for eight years.
Their tour has already taken in Europe and Japan, and they are
currently in the middle of a two-month US leg.
The final few gigs of the tour will see them play Earls Court Arena in London on 14 December, Newcastle Metro Arena on 18 December and the Manchester Evening News Arena on 19 December, before the trip finale in Belfast.
Former Verve singer Richard Ashcroft, who duetted with Coldplay frontman Chris
Martin at Live 8, will be the support act in London, Newcastle and Manchester.
Tickets go on sale from 2 September for the first three dates and from 9 September for Belfast.
Their next single, Fix You, is out on 5 September.
