Officers attacked in disturbances
Paint marks the road where officers came under attack
Police officers have been attacked with petrol bombs during disturbances in Londonderry.

The police say sporadic trouble began at 2000 BST on Wednesday and lasted until 0100 BST on Thursday.

Three petrol bombs and paint were thrown at officers in Irish Street.

A tree was also knocked down by youths and used to block a road.
