A murder investigation is under way after a man's body was found in County Londonderry.
Police said the body was found in Claudy on Monday.
They said they were called to a house at Mullintill Road - a remote part of Claudy - where the man was discovered.
It is believed that he may have been shot.
Staff from the Forensic Science Laboratory travelled from Belfast on Monday night to
begin searching the property and surrounding area for clues.
Scenes of Crime officers sealed off the property and relatives of the dead man were contacted as police tried to establish what happened.
A post mortem examination is scheduled to be carried out on Tuesday.
Inquiries are being conducted in the area and police officers are inspecting the scene.
