Teenager stable after gang attack
The teenager was attacked in the Ballybeen estate
A teenage boy has been badly beaten in an attack on the outskirts of east Belfast.

The attack happened shortly before 0135 BST on Sunday at the junction of Drumadoon Drive and Craignish Crescent in the Ballybeen estate in Dundonald.

The 15-year-old boy, who was with two girls and another boy, was approached by a gang of four youths who got out of a red car.

They kicked and punched the victim who received serious bruising and cuts to his face and head.

He is in a stable condition in hospital.

Police have appealed for anyone with any information about the attack to contact them.
