Two people have been arrested in connection with a stabbing in north Belfast.
A man was attacked as he got out of the passenger side of a car near Carlisle Circus on the Antrim Road at about 2200 BST on Friday.
An off-duty nurse who witnessed the incident gave first aid to the injured man.
He was then driven away in the car.
The man presented himself to police on Saturday.
Detectives had earlier appealed for him to contact them as he may have needed urgent medical attention.
