An elderly couple have died in a road accident in County Down.
David Cromie, 73, and his wife Elizabeth, 68, from De Wind Drive, Comber, died when their car was in collision with a lorry on the Killinchy Road, near Comber, at about 1800 BST on Tuesday.
The couple were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, after cutting equipment was used to remove the roof of their car.
The driver of the lorry is believed to have suffered minor injuries and shock.
A section of the road, between Tullynagee Road and the Balloo House junction, was closed for several hours.
The police are investigating the cause of the crash and have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
Meanwhile, a 22-year-old man has died following a road accident in Armagh on Sunday.
Darius Bulota from Milltown Road, Benburg, was killed in a two car collision on the Battleford Road, Armagh, at about 1500 BST.
Six other people were injured in the crash, including three young children.
The deaths bring the total number of people killed on the roads in Northern Ireland so far this year to 101.
