Two held after hit and run
Two men have been arrested after a hit and run incident in County Down.

Police followed a car after it failed to stop on the Balloo Road in Bangor early on Wednesday.

The vehicle had been hijacked on 6 January in the Bryansburn area of the town, a police spokeswoman said.

The car failed to stop for police and was subsequently involved in a hit and run collision with another vehicle.

It then travelled for 10 miles before crashing in the Strictlands Glen area of the town.

Two people were arrested.

No-one was injured in the incidents. A Ford Fiesta car has been recovered.
