Police on patrol heard an explosion
A bomb has detonated under a speed camera in north Belfast.

Police on patrol in the Antrim Road area heard an explosion at about 0500 BST on Thursday.

They called in Army technical experts, who discovered the remains of a pipe bomb type device made up of two gas cylinders.

No-one was injured in the incident.

Chichester Park was sealed off during the alert but has since reopened.

The police have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
