A west Belfast family have said their home could have been destroyed following a fire.
The house was badly damaged when fire spread from a car that was set on fire behind it.
Local people believe the car was a run around - an untaxed, uninsured vehicle used by so-called joyriders.
The Devine family home in Poleglass was damaged along with the family car and a motorbike.
Fifteen-year-old Helen Devine raised the alarm.
"I heard tyres being punctured and I looked out and there were flames coming up from the car it was burnt out at the back," she said.
"I went and alerted my daddy and he rang the emergency services and then I alerted the neighbours.
"The fire brigade got here but the kitchen was engulfed with flames been so the damage had been done."
