A shot was fired through the front window
A shot was fired through the front window
A couple and their 14-month-old son are to leave their north Belfast home because of a gun attack.

A shot was fired through the living room window of the house in Manor Street at about 2300 BST on Satuday.

There were people in the living room, but only picture frame was hit.

Several more shots were also heard.

'Sectarian'

The householder said he believed his family was targeted because they are Catholic.

"It could have been my girlfriend standing there, or maybe the child who got hit. I don't want to live in an area like this anymore," he said.

"I'm going to try to get accommodation elsewhere off the Housing Executive. Hopefully they'll help us out."
