Concern over missing girls
The police and the parents of two missing teenage girls from County Antrim have said they are becoming increasingly concerned about their safety.

The 15-year-old girls - Samantha McDonald and Michelle Collins - have not been seen since Thursday when they are believed to have stayed at an address in Greenisland.

Michelle is described as 5ft tall, of fair complexion, slim build, blue eyes and blond hair.

We have no indication as to where the girls might be or if they are being held against their will

Samantha is described as 5ft, of fair complexion, blue eyes and with light brown, curly hair.

Police spokesman Davy Thom said they were still trying to establish the background to the girls' disappearance and he appealed for help from the public.

"There are no particular lines of inquiry whatsoever in relation to this investigation," he said.

"We have no indication as to where the girls might be or if they are being held against their will - there's no indication that's the case.

"Our appeal would be very straight forward - it's simply that any person at all who has any information in relation to the whereabouts of Samantha or Michelle contact Carrickfergus police immediately."
