Roads claim three lives
Three people have died on the roads in Northern Ireland over the last two days.

A seven-year-old girl died when she was hit by a bus in the Shankill area of west Belfast at about 1940 GMT on Thursday.

She was Kirsty Gawley from the Shankill area.

In a separate incident, a woman died when her car left the road and crashed into a field.

The accident happened on the Ballysallagh Road between Bangor and Craigantlet on Friday morning.

Parked lorry

She was declared dead at the scene.

Anyone who witnessed the accident is asked to contact detectives at Bangor.

Meanwhile, the police have released the name of a motorcyclist killed in a collision in Newry, County Down, on Thursday afternoon.

Martin Sexton, 19, of Newry Street, Rathfriland died when his motorbike was involved in a collision with a parked lorry.
