Funeral of teenage murder victim
The funeral of the teenager murdered in County Armagh has taken place in Lurgan.

Peter McNally, 19, was shot dead on Monday as he slept in a house in Craigavon.

A priest at the funeral of Mr McNally described his killers as "evil and cowardly".

Father Kieran McPartland was addressing mourners at St Peter's Church during Thursday's funeral mass.

He said "murder is murder and can never be justified".

Fr McPartland said he hoped those who carried out the shooting would be made accountable.

Four people have been arrested in connection with the killing at Westacres, Drumgor.

Detectives believe Mr McNally, who had no fixed home, may have been the victim of a dispute between criminals.

It is understood he was on the run from Hydebank Young Offenders' Centre in Belfast.
