Car crashes through check-point
Two women and a man believed to be in their early 20s have been treated in hospital after a car crash in Armagh.

Police said they were in a grey-coloured car which crashed through a police check-point on Sunday morning.

A spokesman said it then evaded a second check-point before crashing in Hamiltonsbawn Road close to Lowry's Lake.

Two 21-year-old men escaped injury. The police have appealed for witnesses.

Both young women were treated at Craigavon Area Hospital in County Armagh and later discharged.

The young man was transferred to the Ulster Hospital on the outskirts of Belfast.

He sustained lacerations to his legs, face, and arm, and is described as "comfortable".
