Police in the Republic of Ireland have seized heroin thought to be worth about 2m.

Six men have been arrested in Dublin over the seizure.

Four of them are Scottish, one is English and the other is from Ireland.

They can be held for up to seven days before they are either charged or released.

The seizure is believed to be the biggest in the Republic of Ireland for two years.

And the Irish police have said they believe they have broken up a major drugs importation ring.
