Three wounded in shootings

Three men are being treated in hospital for gunshot wounds following separate paramilitary style shootings in County Antrim and north Belfast.

A 28-year-old man was bundled into a car at Derrycoole Way in Newtownabbey on Wednesday night.

He was driven to the back of shops at Ballyearl Drive in New Mossley in Rathcoole where he was shot in both legs.

In the second attack, a man was abducted by two men in a dark coloured car in Carrickfergus.

He was taken by car to an alleyway between Dunluskin Gardens and Carnhill Walk in Carrickfergus.

He suffered a gunshot wound to his lower leg.

A 19-year-old man was walking in Edlingham Street in north Belfast.

He was approached by four men and shot once in each leg.
