The Caspian Sea Monster

During the Cold War, ekranoplans were sighted on the Caspian Sea as huge, fast-moving objects. US intelligence operatives who spotted the vehicle called it the Caspian Sea Monster. It looked like an airplane with the outer halves of the wings removed.
