Answers

  1. It's "There were three people in her marriage" - some of the other phrases are used in the film's trailer. Georgiana Spencer, the Duchess of Devonshire, was Diana's great great great great aunt. Just don't mention this to Keira.
  2. Jet fuel should not freeze until it is at less than -57C (-70F), and Thursday's report says the temperatures involved in the flight were not "unique". And water, which is naturally present in aviation fuel, was at a low level for a Boeing 777.
  3. A keen runner, it's reported that she named Track for her love of athletics. The 19-year-old army private is the eldest of the five Palin children, followed by daughters Bristol, Willow and Piper, and baby son Trig, born in April.
  4. Sales of 4x4s are down 8% on 2007. August is traditionally a important month for new car sales, as a whole down 19% on last August to the lowest level since 1966, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders said on Thursday.
  5. The UK average is currently £174,000 - down 12.7% in the past year, says Halifax, the country's largest mortgage lender. Raising the stamp duty threshold from £125,000 to £175,000 will be a boon for those in parts of the country where prices are lower, such as the North of England, where prices average £129,700.
  6. It's Blair - Sir Ian, that is, Metropolitan Police Commissioner, who on Thursday dismissed reports that plans were underway to prise him from office. Meanwhile, Charles Clarke said Labour was destined for disaster; and Kevin Keegan resigned from Newcastle United after a stand-off with the board.
  7. It's Virgin Radio - the Times of India has bought the station for £53.2m, but they must change the name, having decided not to purchase the Virgin Radio brand.
