Voting has now finished in the fourth round of our annual photo competition on the theme of 'Technology'.

The winner was Bronwen Pickering (picture 10) who polled just over 22% of the vote. The runner-up was Bud Force (picture five) on 13%, ahead of Leigh Church (picture three) on 12%,

What happens next

So our congratulations go to Bronwen and Bud whose pictures will go forward to the final when you will be able to decide who is awarded the title of BBC News website Photographer of the Year.

High standard

We had more than 3,500 entries for the first round and have already received many for subsequent themes.
