The paintings of Jack Vettriano bear a startling resemblance to images in an artists' reference book. Using our models, now's your chance to create your own masterpiece.
Jack Vettriano, who is one of Britain's wealthiest and most popular painters, has been accused of taking inspiration from an art reference book.
Included in the controversy is Vettriano's signature work, The Singing Butler, which sold for £750,000 at auction last year. The figures echo those depicted in the Illustrator's Figure Reference Manual.
Vettriano, 53, has always made much of being self-taught, and his agent has brushed aside criticism that his client has worked from photographs.
