North Wiltshire charity drop-in centre Doorway has held a sponsored sleep-out to coincide with Homelessness Sunday.
The annual event sees staff, volunteers and supporters sleep rough to raise awareness of homelessness in the area, and funds for the centre.
Due to the cold weather they were allowed to pitch tents at Chippenham Rugby Club from 2000 GMT on Saturday.
Doorway, based in Chippenham, caters for homeless and marginalised single adults.
A centre spokesman said homelessness can be an invisible problem in rural areas like North Wiltshire where rough sleepers are rarely seen, unlike in big cities.
Homelessness Sunday is an annual day of prayer and action marked by more than 2,000 churches in England, Scotland and Wales.
