Swindon Hospital park-and-ride postponed

A free park-and-ride scheme for hospital staff in Wiltshire has been put on hold because not enough people have volunteered to use it.

The Great Western Hospital in Swindon had planned to offer a shuttle bus from a car park at the Honda factory to ease the pressure on parking spaces.

A consultation with staff is being set up to find a long term solution to the increasing demand for car parking.

Officials hope the service can be introduced at a later date.
