Bulk-buy could cut school bills

Schools in Wiltshire are clubbing together to buy supplies in bulk to help reduce costs.

It is thought thousands of pounds of taxpayers' money could be saved if schools changed they way they made their purchases.

It is estimated they could make savings of up to £200,000 over the next month by placing joint orders.

The schools are also being encouraged to support local suppliers to help Wiltshire's economy.
