A man and woman have been arrested by police investigating the deaths of two dogs at a private pet sanctuary in East Grafton, Wiltshire.

Officers were called to the property by RSPCA inspectors on Friday and found the emaciated carcasses of two dogs.

Five other animals were taken from the property by the RSPCA.

A 21-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of causing unnecessary suffering to animals. The pair have been bailed.
