A Wiltshire man who stabbed another man to death after a drinking session has been jailed for life. Daniel de Costa, 31, attacked Matthew Baggott in September 2007 after an argument in Devizes market square. De Costa, of Melksham, claimed he was suffering from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and was not responsible for his actions. He was found guilty of murder at Winchester Crown Court and told to serve at least 15 years in prison. The court was told Mr Baggott, 35, from Devizes, had criticised de Costa for smashing a glass bottle on church grounds. Later that night de Costa embraced his victim then delivered the fatal wound, the jury was told.
