Dead soldier named by detectives

A serving soldier who was found dead in Wiltshire has been identified by police.

Steven Mark Castaglioni, 21, was found dead on Monday in The Packway, Larkhill. He had been a member of the Royal Artillery.

A post-mortem examination was carried out but the results will not be known for "several weeks", police said.

A 29-year-old soldier arrested on suspicion of murder has been released on bail pending further inquiries.

Police have appealed for anyone who was in the area of The Packway between 2230 BST and 2315 BST, on 29 June, to contact detectives.

The Packway is the main road running through Larkhill, which is home to two Royal Artillery regiments - 14 Regt RA and 32 Regt RA - and the Royal School of Artillery.
