Soldier murder suspect is bailed

Police investigating the suspected murder of a man in Wiltshire have released a 29-year-old man on bail.

The 21-year-old victim, a soldier, died at 2300 BST on Monday in The Packway, Larkhill.

The 29-year-old, who is also a serving soldier, was arrested on suspicion of murder on Monday and questioned by police in Salisbury.

An initial post-mortem examination proved inconclusive and police are waiting for the results of more tests.

Police are appealing for anyone with any information about the incident to contact them.

They are expected to release further details about the death later.
