Police set up rural crime squad

Pc Miles, PCSO Bordiss and Pc Randle
The three will be based within the communities they serve

A new rural crime squad has been set up in Wiltshire to tackle issues such as hare coursing, poaching and theft of farm machinery.

The team of two police constables and a community support officer will offer crime prevention advice and share updates from the farm watch scheme.

They will work with neighbourhood policing teams and within the rural communities themselves.

People can ring them direct to receive help or to arrange a meeting.

Pc Mark Randall will be based in Amesbury, Pc Tony Miles will be in Wootton Bassett and support officer John Bordiss will be based in Marlborough.
