Man attacked after snowball row

A group of teenagers have beaten a man unconscious after he asked them to stop throwing snowballs at his car.

Police were called to Manchester Road at it junction with Corporation Street in Swindon, Wiltshire, on Thursday afternoon after reports of the attack.

The victim asked the group of seven boys to stop throwing them but some kicked and punched him to the ground.

The man was taken to hospital for treatment for head injuries. Police are appealing for witnesses.
