A dog was rescued by fire crews after falling through ice on a frozen lake in Swindon, Wiltshire.

Bella, a black Labrador, was out walking with her owner at Moulton Hill when the accident happened.

She managed to scrambled onto an island in the middle of the lake and was rescued using an "inflatable walkway".

Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service is warning pet owners to keep their dogs on leads while exercising near frozen lakes and ponds.
