Woman subjected to sexual assault

A 25-year-old woman has been subjected to a serious sexual assault as she walked along a street in Wiltshire.

The victim told police she was attacked in the Bond Street area of Trowbridge sometime around midnight on Sunday or into the early hours of Monday.

The attacker is described as white, aged about 35 to 40, 5ft 7in tall and of scrawny build with an "ugly" face, a Wiltshire Police spokesman said.

Police have asked for anyone in the area at the time to contact them.
