MPs to meet struggling businesses

Swindon's two Labour MPs are to hold a summit to discuss problems local businesses may be having as a result of the economic downturn.

Michael Wills and Anne Snelgrove will host the meeting next month.

They said although the global financial situation concerned all constituents, they were aware some companies had been particularly affected.

Mr Wills said the summit would provide a forum for local businesses to raise their concerns.

"We also hope the summit will provide an opportunity to discuss the prospects for businesses in Swindon," he said.
