Energy scheme for historic hall

New energy-saving measures are being taken at the Jenner Hall in Cricklade to save money on heating bills.

North Wiltshire District Council made a grant of £14,000 available to replace crumbling windows at the former school, which is now used by community groups.

Loft insulation will also be installed to draught-proof the historic building.

Kate Crow, treasurer of the hall said: "It's not a particularly exciting project but this is likely to make it a better place for all the users."
