Men chase gang of attackers away

Wiltshire Police have praised two people who stepped in to saved a couple from being badly beaten in Swindon.

The man and woman were being attacked by a gang of four men as they walked home along Milton Road near Canal Walks subway in the early hours of Saturday.

The attackers used a long weapon to strike blows to their bodies before stealing items from the pair.

Two unknown men chased the gang off and managed to retrieve the items. One man has been arrested.
