Tribute paid to bus tragedy boy

The parents of a six-year-old boy who was knocked down and killed by a bus in Swindon have paid tribute to their son.

Ashley Whiteway died after he was hit by a bus in Westlea Drive in Toothill on Friday 8 August.

In a statement his parents said: "Ashley was a much-loved son who will be sadly missed by all his family."

Ashley's friend Dean Harle, who was also hit by the bus, is in Frenchay Hospital in Bristol where he is said to be in a satisfactory condition.
