Train supports homeless children

A special excursion train from stations in Wiltshire and Bristol will raise money to help children living in railway stations around the world.

The high speed train will travel over the heritage West Somerset Railway to Minehead on Saturday 10 May.

Passengers will receive free entry to Butlins holiday park and there will be half-price tickets on the railway's steam trains.

All the money raised will go to The Railway Children charity.

Event organiser Ivan Davenport said: "The Railway Children is a charity that staff feel strongly about, which is why we've had no problem getting colleagues to volunteer their precious time to make the day go smoothly."
