Man blames friend in hammer case
Henry Webster
The case is expected to last another week at least
A defendant in the case of a boy beaten with a hammer at a school in Wiltshire has told a court his friend carried out the attack.

Henry Webster, 16, was punched, kicked and hit repeatedly on the head at Ridgeway School in Wroughton in 2007.

Four teenagers, Wasif Khan, 18, Amjad Qazi, 19, and two boys aged 15 and 16, deny inflicting grievous bodily harm.

On Monday, Amjad Qazi told Bristol Crown Court Wasif Khan beat Henry Webster across the head.

Last week Mr Khan told the court it was Mr Qazi who had assaulted Henry.

Mr Webster suffered brain injury in the attack.

The case continues and is expected to last another week.
