Vandals strike at leisure centre
A leisure centre in Wiltshire, which had been saved from closure by a local action group, has been vandalised.

Damage to air conditioning units and the roof, estimated at £30,000 worth, has been caused to Calne's leisure centre over the last few weeks.

The centre may not now open until the New Year, the council said.

Councillor Viv Vines said: "This is mindless vandalism. I would appeal to anyone who knows anything about the vandalism to report it to the police."
