College site will be redeveloped
The site of the old Swindon College is to be transformed into a cinema, shops, restaurants, a supermarket and flats.

Planners at the borough council gave proposals for the development at the Eastcott site the go-ahead at a meeting on Tuesday.

The Chairman of the Planning Committee Dale Heenan, said he hoped the development would lead the way for further regeneration in the town.

A purpose-built £15m college at North Star replaced the former facility.
