Plan for new children's centres
Six new children's centres across Wiltshire will be open by the end of the year.

The centres, which will include access to health services, will open in Calne, Wootton Bassett, Amesbury, Downton, Salisbury and Corsham.

Councillor Bridget Wayman, said: "These centres show our commitment to providing local services.

"The centres will improve children's self-confidence and improve their relationships with others."

There are children's centres already open in Chippenham, Trowbridge, Warminster, Pewsey, Tidworth, Marlborough, two in Melksham and a linked site in Calne.

Each centre will provide a base for child minders and access to employment advice.
