Meeting over hospital cut-backs
An emergency meeting is being held over cuts at a Wiltshire hospital.

People in Marlborough are being invited to give their views on the proposed closure of Savernake Hospital's day unit which serves elderly people.

The closure announcement last week followed news that the hospital's Minor Injuries Unit and dementia ward were also to shut.

Monday night's meeting, arranged by Friends of Savernake Hospital, is being held at Marlborough town hall.

The cuts follow a major review of health services across the county.
