Human remains which were found by contractors working at a driveway in Wiltshire have turned out to be medieval.

Officers were called to The Butts in Westbury after a skull and a number of bones were reportedly discovered on Tuesday morning.

Crime scene investigators and a forensic archaeologist visited the scene and worked there for two days.

On Thursday afternoon an expert confirmed the date of the bones.
