City development plan is approved
A plan to transform Salisbury over the next 20 years has been approved by the district council.

The redevelopment will focus on four areas, including the Churchfields Industrial Estate and the Southampton Road Gateway.

The car park in the middle of the Market Square will be removed, and the Maltings area will be redeveloped into a mix of shops, houses and offices.

Public consultation with affected residents is due to begin.
