Many ignore drink-drive warnings
Breath test
Police say they are disappointed with the new figures
Some 15 drivers failed roadside breath tests in Wiltshire in the week following a crackdown on drink-driving.

A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said nine motorists in the Melksham area, two in Salisbury and four in Swindon all failed the roadside tests.

Recently police put on display a wrecked car which was involved in a fatal crash, to warn of the dangers of drink-driving.

Inspector Nick Elton said the new figures were "disappointing".

He added: "There are still a few motorists who refuse to listen to the advice Wiltshire police and partners have given.

"I have witnessed first-hand the devastation caused as a result of somebody's wrong decision to drive after drinking alcohol.

"We are determined to crack down on drink-driving."
