Science museum prepares to reopen
The Science Museum at Wroughton in Wiltshire is due to reopen this week after undergoing a structural survey.

The hangars housing the giant exhibits have been closed to the public since 10 August for safety.

The collection includes a bus that was used to transport railway workers around Swindon and the airliner which toured with the Rolling Stones.

Another hangar, not previously seen by the public, will open its doors when the museum reopens on Tuesday.

The former airfield at Wroughton is used as a large objects storage facility for the London Science Museum.
