Arrest over tycoon treasure theft
Ramsbury Manor, near Marlborough in Wiltshire
The manor was targeted when owner Harry Hyams was away
A man has been arrested in connection with the theft of a collection of priceless antiques from the country home of a millionaire property tycoon.

Ramsbury Manor, Harry Hyams' Wiltshire estate, was raided in February.

Thieves made off with a huge haul of valuable porcelain and artworks, some of which were later found in a culvert.

A 66-year-old Northamptonshire man was arrested in the early hours of Friday, and is being questioned by Wiltshire Police about the raid.

Police said a large number of items taken, including clocks, barometers, silver, painting and porcelain, are still missing, and have appealed for help to trace them.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact Wiltshire Police, or Crimestoppers.
