Jury out in couple killing case
Milroy and Joan Clarke
Milroy and Joan Clarke were killed in their own home
The jury in the case of a man accused of killing his mother and father in a brutal knife attack has retired to consider its verdict.

Michael Clarke, 21, denies murdering his parents Milroy, 70, and Joan, 56, at their home in Melksham, Wiltshire, in December 2004.

Prosecutors claim Mr Clarke stabbed the pair to death before going to a rock concert with friends.

Bristol Crown Court earlier heard the bank worker was obsessed with knives.

Mr Clarke's friend Stuart Painter, 22, of Beanacre Road, Melksham, is accused of helping Clark dispose of the murder weapon and other incriminating evidence.

He denies one charge of assisting an offender.
