Armed raid staff see counsellors
A fast food restaurant in Wiltshire is to offer its staff counselling after an armed robbery on Sunday.

Two men escaped with cash after the raid at a McDonalds in Chippenham.

The masked pair had walked into the Bath Road branch. One was carrying a firearm and demanded cash from the frightened staff.

In a statement McDonalds said the health and safety of its staff was extremely important. No one was injured in the incident.

McDonalds will be giving those involved the opportunity to speak to a counsellor.

Both robbers had tights over their heads and were wearing blue overalls. They walked off into a nearby housing estate with a quantity of cash.

Both were aged between 20 and 30. One was 6ft 2ins tall and of average build, the other was 5ft 8ins tall.
