Money is taken during armed raid

Two men have got away with money after an armed robbery at a McDonalds fast food outlet in Wiltshire.

The pair walked into the Bath Road branch in Chippenham shortly before the outlet opened on Sunday.

One of the men had a firearm and demanded cash from staff, which was put into bags.

Both men were wearing tights over their heads and were wearing blue overalls. They walked off into a nearby housing estate with a quantity of cash.

Both were aged between 20 and 30. One was 6ft 2ins tall and of average build, the other was 5ft 8ins tall.
